Dear Katie and family, I have been following the life of your sweet Catherine for almost two years and have never introduced myself so here I go. My name is Sharliss Arnold and I live in Franklin, TN. I have prayed for all three of you and it thrills my very soul to see how wonderful Catherine and both of you are doing. While you typed and gave us each step your jewel has walked these past few years, they gave me hope during times I too was caring for a very sick child. Just five weeks after we relocated here from Georgia my youngest was told she had ALL Leukemia any our entire world changed in a blink of an eye. That was September 2006 and now I fast forward to now Summer 2010 any my jewel is in total remission and living life like all the other teenage girls. Ok, so she is still a little slower and needs to nap, but hey, we would encourage her to do that anyway. Her name is Katherine and she is 17 and as pretty as a peach. I kept her caringbridge site but have slowed down to entries every two months now. God is so good to have held both us moms as we walked these dark paths. Katherine will volunteer in the very hospital that saved her life...Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in July. Her hopes are to be with the kids on the 6th floor, the Oncology Floor, I know God will give her this dream. Well, if you would like to connect, you can email me at sharlissarnold@gmail.com Thanks again for being such a warm spot in my life. You have indeed made a difference and Catherine has a very special place in my heart.

Never Quit!
